Insurance Options

When using pet insurance, payment is due when services are rendered and then your insurance company will reimburse you, if the treatments provided are covered by your plan.

If you have insurance, we recommend that you discuss our proposed treatment plan after the consultation. We will provide you with paperwork following the appointment that details our discussion and treatment plan.

Due to the nature of veterinary dentistry and the need to perform imaging (dental radiographs and/or cone beam CT) under anesthesia, we cannot finalize our plan until the day of the procedure when we have the results of the diagnostic imaging. Given this requirement, we will give you our best prediction based on an awake, visual exam on the day of your pet’s consultation.

If you're looking for a pet insurance provider, we suggest checking out Trupanion, ASPCA Pet Insurance, Nationwide Pet Insurance, PetPlan, Pawlicy Advisor, or Pumpkin Pet Insurance.

CareCredit

CareCredit is a healthcare credit card designed to help you pay for your pet’s health and wellness over time instead of having to pay for everything all at once.

Your CareCredit card can be used for a variety of veterinary procedures, including dental services and primary care.

Scratch Pay

A veterinary loan company, Scratch Pay is not a credit card and does not affect your credit score when you apply for approval. Scratch Pay can be easily done from any smartphone, after a treatment estimate from Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery of North Texas has been provided. Apply now at scratchpay.com.

"Thoroughness and competency. My local vet experienced a heart block with our Westie during her teeth cleaning. I wanted to understand the impact on her health in the future and requested a referral to the cardiology department of FMVESC. My experience with cardiology did not disappoint. I later decided that having the FMVESC dental practice handle the extractions would be wise. The consult appointment with Dr. Johnson, Tech Kaitlin Lilie, and other staff was informative and thorough. I was certain the staff would be the best option. I was right. Our Westie went through seven extractions with flying colors. She recovered quickly and did not suffer the side effects we experienced through her teeth cleanings at another Vet. I want to commend Dr. Johnson and all of the others I met during our visits, but unfortunately, did not think to make note of the names."
